Funeral March of a Marionette (Early Adv. Piano Solo)
Gounod's famous "Marche funèbre d'une marionnette" was originally composed for piano solo in 1872 and later orchestrated. It's best known as the theme for "Alfred Hitchcock Presents." It follows the story line of the death of a marionette by duel and the ensuing funeral procession in the key of D minor. Inscriptions are included throughout the score to highlight.
